VP of Resource Development

Reporting to the President and CEO, the Vice President of Resource Development will play a pivotal role in achieving the organization’s fundraising goals. This includes strategic leadership and oversight of fundraising activities and events, with a focus on diversifying revenue streams and increasing UWFM’s revenue from annual workplace campaigns, corporate gifts and sponsorships, foundation grants, major gifts, non-workplace giving, and planned giving.

Director of Opportunity and Access

The Director of Access and Opportunity is responsible for leading United Way Fresno and Madera Counties’ Prosperity Agenda programs and initiatives within our Impact team. They will lead organizational efforts to help households meet their basic needs, move them along a path to financial stability, and open doors to wealth creation. This position will collaborate with multiple community partner organizations, supporting existing initiatives to ensure that progress is made toward meeting regional goals. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to build new, community-driven initiatives to improve access to financial stability resources, including cash assistance, banking access, investments, and housing programs.

Director of Community Support

The Director of Community Support is responsible for leading United Way Fresno and Madera Counties’ Career Advancement programs and initiatives within our Impact team. Leveraging funding from the State of California’s Community Economic Resilience Fund, they will lead organizational efforts to ensure that community members have access to jobs that pay family-sustaining wages and offer opportunities for career advancement. This includes removing the systemic barriers that create unequal challenges for communities of color when they enter the workforce.

211 Resource Navigator

Reporting to the Director of Impact and Resource Development, this position is responsible for providing intensive case management support, individualized coaching, and navigational support to community members and community partners, to coordinate and deliver whole person care to individuals facing significant challenges and barriers. As part of the UWFM 211 team, this position works to reduce barriers to career pathways and employment, and to promote economic security and wealth creation.
